Surface Finish - Lapparto: Lappato tiles have a finish which is between matt and polished. It gives the gloss effect without the disadvantages of gloss/polished tiles. Not as easily scratched, not as slippery and no issues with optical hazing.
Material - Porcelain: Fully vitrified tile with water absorption less than 0.5%. They have very low water absorption and are frost-proof so can be used externally in very cold climates. Being strong and non-porous they are also very resistant to staining.
